Musicians interested in playing in the Coeur d'Alene Symphony or being added to our substitute list should send a short musical resume to office@cdasymphony.org. You may then be invited to set up an audition time.

Annual auditions take place during the summer months, but section strings and wind players who want to be considered for the sub list may schedule an audition at any time of the year.

Bassoon

  • Rimsky-Korsakov:  Scheherazade, Mvt 2, “The Kalendar Prince”, m. 5 to Rehearsal A; bar 2 of Rehearsal L to Rehearsal M
  • Tchaikovsky:  Symphony #6, movement 4, m. 2-36
  • Plus 1-2 minute piece of choice showing musical ability

French Horn
